When do cookies expire?

Cookies can remain on your computer for different periods of time. Some cookies are ‘session cookies’, meaning that they exist only while your browser is open. These are deleted automatically once you close your browser. Other cookies are ‘permanent cookies’, meaning that they survive after your browser is closed. They can be used by websites to recognise your computer when you open your browser and browse the internet again.  The tables above indicate when each of the website cookies and CMS cookies expire.

How do I block cookies?

You can block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies.  However, if you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including essential cookies) you may not be able to access all or parts of this website and/or the CMS.
