The BBRS has produced a short guide, which outlines how we are governed and why the organisation was set up following the Simon Walker Review. This guide provides clarity and transparency for our customers and wider stakeholders. It covers how we were set up as an independent dispute resolution service, the role of the Implementation Steering Group (ISG) prior to launch, who sits on the BBRS Board of Directors and the role of the Liaison Panels and the Bank Appointed Member (BAM). The guide also includes information about the Post Implementation Review (PIR) and why it was conducted, as well as the findings from the PIR Part One, and the process for proposing changes to our Scheme Rules.
